Time goes too fast. :-(

Not sure where the last few years have went since I stopped writing, and keeping this blog updated.
Sadly I was talking with my sister in law about how I wanted to know what my kids weighed at 4 months and realized the only way to know that was to check my neglected blog. Then I realized that I really NEED this blog.
So here I go... this is more for me that any readers, but feel free to read, and comment:-)

SO much missed over the time I haven't written, but I will just do a quick update and keep moving:-)

Late 2013 we found out we were expecting a new member to our family! It was such exciting news!
The kids were so thrilled that a little person was going to be joining our family. A little boy, due to arrive June 27th, 2014.
Things were going well, a little more aches and pains that 8 years ago when I was expecting my first;-) but every single ache was more than worth it.
Fast forward 8 months:-)
The beginning of May I was feeling a bit off, tried to take it easy:-), which was hard juggling getting kids to and from school and working part time cleaning houses on top of keeping my own house livable. Mid May I was told to stop everything, put my feet up and try to stay pregnant for a few more weeks I was 34 weeks at the time.
Fast forward one week... May 23, at 5:15 pm.
My kids had just finished piano lessons, I wasn't feeling good, but neither was Clara so I assumed it was the flu. I picked up pizza on the way home cause I didn't feel like cooking, or eating.
Richard has school Thursday nights so I didn't expect him home for more than 5 mins before he had to leave again.
I went upstairs to sit cause I wasn't feeling good, and the kids were watching a movie while they ate pizza. As I was headed back downstairs my water broke.
Rick came home shortly after thankfully.:-) we shipped the kids out to Aunt Julianna and away we went.
I wasn't in labour, but I need medication before they could start my labor.
At 12:30am my labor was started.
46 min later....

Weston Bradley Van Dyk was born:-) Weighing 5 pounds and 13 ounces. He was 18.5 inches long.
All was well.
Weston stayed in the NICU for 2 days and then one day in my room with me, and then we could go home! What a blessing that 5 weeks early he was able to go home as quickly as a baby born full term.
He was so tiny:-) And SO loved.

When we left the hospital Weston weighed 5pounds and 5 ounces.
It didn't take him long to get back up to his birth weight though;) He LOVED to eat.
