Come what may, God is our Refuge.

Its been weeks since I've updated my blog, but it feels like years. It feels like so much time has past, but its only been weeks. We are currently going through some changes in our lives, and would love your prayers as this happens.
God has guided us in a way we didn't expect, taught us things we didn't know we need to learn, created new paths in the sand for us to follow, and opened our eyes to things we couldn't see.  Our world has had a shake, it will settle, things will go back to normal, but for now we are just trying to trust in Gods plan, and except these changes in our lives:-)
As I sat in church on Sunday morning I opened the bulletin to the second page and there it was, Philippians 4:6. This verse has been ringing in my ears lately. Be Anxious for NOTHING, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your request be made known to God.  The Pastor spoke about the walls of Jericho, and how they trusted in God, submitted to his plan, humbly. Was I doing this? Was I submitting to a plan   I did not expect? Was I walking humbly? Being patient? Shouting to the Lord even before the race had been won, before victory had come?
Shout to the Lord, celebrate trust, follow him, SEE HIM walking with you, down every path. Look only, and always towards God in all that happens in our lives.
Remember the focus of our lives, be anxious for nothing.
COME WHAT MAY, GOD IS OUR REFUGE!

So incredibly thankful that I sit here safe and content, with healthy children running around me, a husband I wouldn't trade for anything, and a Great God as my leader and guide.
