Some Thoughts.

Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.
( Romans 12:12)

I am weak, my troubles seem more powerful than I, I worry about tomorrow........  But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." (2 cor 12:9a)

I was frightened, I felt alone, afraid....."Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” (Josh 1:9)

Its amazing to me that when I feel anxious there are so many verse that can instantly give me comfort. God really shows himself in his Word.

HE is here with me, I can feel it.
I am NOT alone, I am NEVER alone.

Remember that no matter what your trials you are NOT alone.
Do not be afraid of what will come, where your life shall take you. Remember that God is with you wherever you go.

Its hard to think that things aren't going to go as you may want them to. Its difficult to think that things wont be the same. People change. Situations Change. Life Changes. Feelings Change.
God does NOT change.
He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

I often feel silly as I start to write posts like this, but I'm just letting my heart talk. This is stuff that I can re read to myself in times when I'm feeling a little lost.
Today I'm feeling strong.  So today I write.  And maybe today someone else is feeling a little lost, and just maybe the passages above can help, like they help me.

GOD IS OUR HELPER. Through all my trials the only thing that carries me through is the Lord.  He gives strength when we are weak. He gives light when there is darkness. He gives joy where there is sorrow.

He will never leave, nor forsake.
God never changes. His promise is certain.

beautiful truths Megan. Don't feel silly about writing!! We all need to be reminded about what is true!-especially when it's not always what we feel.
