The Furniture stores that were in the old brick distillery buildings were awesome, the atmosphere alone made you think your house could suit a 12 foot long table made from a single cut piece of maple tree knots and all. After that we went to tour steam whistle, but unfortunately they were all booked so we decided it was a good day to travel up.... way up to the top of the CN Tower. Something neither Richard, or I had ever done.
It was a long wait, but was fun to finally go to the top after seeing it so many times.
Then it was supper at a great steak restaurant downtown, then back to our lovely room at the Holiday Inn, Downtown Toronto. Which was great, other than being on the 21 floor and having to stop 20 times before getting to the lobby.... I was pretty sick by the time the 20 or so of us that were crammed in that little elevator reached the bottom.

It was a relaxing mini vacation followed by a "relaxing" Monday spent in the ER with a husband with a stomach ache that was just a little too painful to put up with.
By 7:30ish pm Monday I was sitting in a surgery waiting room praying that my husband would be fine, and that it would be a simple uncomplicated surgery to have his appendix taken out. Praise God that is exactly what it was. Its Thursday now.
He's sleeping, not feeling to great yet.
Kids are watching a movie, after spending the morning at the park with friends, and swimming the afternoon away.
Feeling pretty thankful today for all the blessing that God gives us that I take for granted everyday.
- A Healthy husband and Children
- A place we can feel safe in.
- Great friends and family that have been here for us when we need.
- Gods protection from things that could have harmed us.
- Work for Richard when so many people don't have any.
- And all the "little things". food, clothes..... and all the other stuff we take for granted.
